There are two main forms of cover, Comprehensive and Third Party Fire and Theft. Both types of cover will compensate the other driver if it is found that you are at fault for an accident.
Third Party Fire and Theft policy will not cover the damage to your vehicle unless it was caused by theft or attempted theft or by fire.
A Comprehensive policy will provide cover for accidental damage sustained to your vehicle. It is common that your policy will have an excess. This means that you must pay this excess towards the cost of repairs of your vehicle. If you are not at fault for an accident you may be able to recover this sum from the responsible driver. info@motor-support.com
